An excellent interpretation of cognitive science for the classroom teacher. I’ve read quite a few cognitive science-oriented books for teachers, and I've recently read more of the original work for my master's course. Test-Enhanced Learning adds unique insights and interpretations which are useful for teachers with a little or a lot of experience. As well as introducing a useful range of insights from recent evidence on enhancing students’ learning, Kristian Still ensures that he puts these in perspective for the teacher wanting to apply them in their setting. The inclusion of hyperlinks to the research underpinning useful ideas and techniques is a thoughtful touch which encourages the reader to look at the primary sources themselves. Recommended.
