The Working Class has been incredibly helpful in the writing of an inclusion and diversity module for our Initial Teacher Training degree course. The book is written in an incredibly accessible way and makes a very compelling argument for change to our educational system. It also draws together the most up-to-date literature and prominent research to create an in-depth overview of the issues of social class in education, as well as providing practical advice for educators whose job it is to help close the gap.
