The Perfect Assessment for Learning - I loved it. Its explanation of AfL is second to none and moreover is in easily accessible jargon free language: it's not just the pupils who need accessibility to engage with a topic and learn. For many it will be packed with challenges but the structure of the book's content allows colleagues to adopt and implement strategies piecemeal and enjoy success. I will certainly be incorporating aspects in my T&L repertoire and CPD opportunities alongside credits to the author and publisher, and recommending it to the Head Teacher at the school I've just completed the consultancy in.
