The Expert Teacher breaks down the essentials of -˜teacher thinking', while still challenging the way I think about teaching and learning. The book presents practical applications that I'm able to share with student teachers, as well as theoretical discussions I've been able to put to my class on curriculum. Most importantly, The Expert Teacher focuses on the act of teaching as the art of facilitating learning. It's also written in such a way that it uses the pedagogical content knowledge it advocates, which is pushing all of us - and I love it!
