Mental Health Awareness Week

This week is Mental Health Awareness Week, with this year™s theme being focused upon ˜relationships™.

Rachel Jones featured in TEDxNorwichED's Speaker Spotlight Series

Rachel Jones, author of Teacher Geek and curator of Don™t Change the Lightbulbs, was a speaker at the TEDxNorwichED event on the 19th of March, where she shared her ˜ideas worth sharing™ about education and offered her own interpretation on the ˜Think Differently™ theme.

Rachel was a great hit on stage as she encouraged teachers to ˜Unleash your inner Teacher Geek™ (you can watch her talk here), and has since been featured in a ˜backstage-style™ interview with Leah Stewart as part of TEDx™s Speaker Spotlight Series.

Avril McDonald - local celebrity!

Avril McDonald, author of our brand new Feel Brave series of children™s books, was recently profiled by the news & tourism site in her local town of Chislehurst.

In the feature Avril discusses her love of walking her dog around the woodland walks in the area and the inspiration behind her writing, and also shares a piece of poetry from one of the titles in the series, The Grand Wolf!
