Thursday, 2 June 2016

‹Avril McDonald, author of the recently published Feel Brave series of ˜little stories about big feelings™, has been featured in The Bromley Borough News having attended the opening of a library bus alongside the town mayor at Mead Road Infant School in Chislehurst.

Avril presented her newly released Feel Brave series of books to the children before the mayor officially cut the ribbon, and friends, parents and neighbours joined in the afternoon for Avril McDonald™s book signing and tea party on the school grounds.

The five beautifully illustrated story books are all designed to help children explore emotional intelligence, positive psychology and some of the real-life issues which they might face “ such as bullying, anxiety, bereavement, friendships and worries “ in an engaging, creative and non-threatening way, whilst the Feel Brave Teaching Guide serves as the perfect companion in providing activities and guidance on how to explore these issues in the classroom.
