Richard Evans is a secondary school teacher with a particular interest in, and passion for, helping pupils who struggle with literacy. A former journalist, he has spent the last decade learning from pupils in lower sets and in nurture and tuition groups. One of the fruits of their joint labour is the passport' ' a tool designed to assist teachers in helping pupils develop their emotional literacy.
Dabney Ewin, MD, FACS, was a clinical professor of surgery and psychiatry at Tulane University Medical School in New Orleans, Louisiana. An adjunct faculty member and practising physician, Dr Ewin taught hypnosis at Tulane ' and was also a clinical professor of psychiatry at Louisiana State University Medical School, a past president of the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis and the American Board of Medical Hypnosis, a past secretary of the Society for Clinical and Experimental Hypnosis, and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Ideas enabling workers to fulfil their potential and to harness their creativity were so successful that Tetley Tea Company, of which he was Managing Director, was turned around so that its productivity more than doubled and a large loss was changed in to spectacular profits. Gabor Filo, DDS, ABHD graduated in 1984 from the University of Toronto. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Hypnosis in Dentistry. His professional career includes private practice, and hospital dentistry, with an emphasis on the nonpharmacological treatment of dental anxiety and phobia. He lectures nationally and internationally on hypnosis and laser dentistry.

She has written a wide range of educational resources for teaching French; from magazines and books to songs, CD-ROMs, online courses and radio and TV programmes.
