ORDER PROCESSING
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our catalogue, click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping basket. After you have finished your selection, click on "Checkout" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.
We accept payment by Visa, Mastercard, Eurocard, Amex and Maestro. Our website is secure: all payments are handled through Secure Trading, giving you complete security and peace of mind. All orders will normally be despatched the same day although some orders can take a little longer. If an item is not in stock we email or phone you so that you know when to expect it. If you would rather not wait you have the option to cancel the order.
For orders made from the UK or the European Union 17.5% VAT is added where applicable. Orders from all other countries are VAT free. Please note VAT only applies to audiotapes, CDs and videos. Books are exempt from VAT.
We are happy to accept official orders from educational establishments such as schools or LEAs.
DELIVERY CHARGES
A delivery charge will usually be added to your order. This charge varies according to the size of your order and where you live. The charges are as follows:

Next day delivery and 1st class are available on request at an additional charge of £2.50

DATA PROTECTION COLLECTION NOTICE
In general you can visit our website without telling us who you are and without revealing any information about yourself. If, however, you use our site to place an order you will be asked to provide certain information about yourself. This information will be used only in accordance with our duties under the Data Protection Act 1998. Your name, address and contact details will be processed for the purposes of providing you with the goods you ordered. Your details may be kept for a period (updated as appropriate) to enable us to carry out any further orders you may make more expediently. We may also use information that you provide for assessment and analysis, e.g. marketing, customer and product analysis, to enable us to review, develop and improve our services. Although your name and address are never released to anyone outside Crown House Publishing Limited or The Anglo-American Book Company Limited (who process our orders), we do occasionally carry out mailings on behalf of other organisations when we believe the product or service they are offering could be of interest to you. If you do not wish to receive such mailings please indicate in the tick box on the order screen and we will amend our records accordingly.

Please note that cookies are used on this shopping site, but only to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item. We do not exchange cookies with any third party websites or external data suppliers.
Under the Data Protection Act 1998 you have the right to request copies of any information we may hold on you (a small fee of £10 may be charged) and to request that we correct, update or destroy any such information. RETURNS POLICY
We operate a “no quibble” returns policy: you may cancel your order at any time before your order is shipped and up to 7 working days after you receive your order. Any items to be returned should be sent, in mint condition, to The Anglo-American Book Company Limited (address as above). Please contact them at books@anglo-american.co.uk or on +44 (0) 1267 211880 for the procedures to follow. Full refund or credit will be given and if you are in the UK we will even refund your postage. All you have to pay is the return postage. This policy does not apply to audio or videotapes or computer software from which the wrapping has been removed. In the unlikely event that you have any complaints please contact The Anglo-American Book Company Limited at the above address.
